Getting here is easy!

Wellington West is  minutes from downtown by bike, bus or car, and not much more by foot. Take advantage of free on-street parking and hundreds of bike racks as you explore Wellington West from Island Park to the Somerset Bridge (2.4km).

By Bike:
 

Wellington West is a proud participant of the Ontario by Bike Network. Wellington West is the commercial district between Somset Bridge and Island Park, home of Hintonburg and Wellington Village, and the next door neighbours of  Little Italy and Westboro.
 

There are tons of available bike racks along Wellington St W. Why not hop on your bike and come down? View a bike map of the area here. OR looking for something to do take our weekly recommended ride, don’t worry it will take you to us!

By Bus:

There are all kinds of ways to come on down for a visit. The primary routes are:

 

  • Transit Way Stop: Tunney’s Pasture (Numbers 94, 95, 96, 97 – and many more)

  • Along Wellington St W: Take the Number 2

  • Along Holland Ave: Take the Number 16 or the Number 86
     

It takes about 10 minutes from Rideau Centre to Tunney’s Pasture on the Transit Way

By Car:
 

  • Queensway (Hwy 417) Exit: Parkdale Ave (northbound)
     

  • Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway (Ottawa River Parkway) Exit: Parkdale Ave (southbound)
     

Wellington St W is actually a section of one Ottawa’s longest streets, which changes names several times. (Don’t blame us!) To the east, Wellington St W becomes Somerset St W, and to the west it becomes Richmond Rd.
